Link REIT sells T.O.P in Mong Kok for HK$2.3 billion

Link Asset Management (Link REIT) announced on 30 October 2026 that it has sold its entire interest in 700 Nathan Road, Mong Kok, known as T.O.P This is Our Place, for HK$2.3 billion. The buyer is Han Bliss Global Limited, a local investor.

Under the agreement, Link REIT will sign an asset management contract and continue to manage the property after the transaction, which is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027. Proceeds from the sale are planned to be used for repurchasing fund units, working capital, and investing in core asset portfolios.

Link REIT stated that the property's main income comes from its office tower, which is classified as a non-core asset. The sale is consistent with the group's ongoing strategy to focus on its core business, which centres on owning and actively managing shopping malls and car parks in the Asia-Pacific region.

Chief Investment Officer Sung Chun-yin said the sale of the property releases capital, reflecting prudent management of the property portfolio, and also helps expand third-party capital management business.

Link REIT originally acquired 700 Nathan Road in 2016 and later renovated it. The retail portion was repositioned, bringing in multiple brands, retail concepts and cross-border pop-up stores.

According to property consultant Knight Frank, the total gross floor area of the integrated commercial project is approximately 285,000 square feet. The basement to the 5th floor comprises retail space, while the 6th to 20th floors are office space.
