Hong Kong Transport Department says Huanggang port interchange ready, will improve info as needed
Hong Kong’s Transport Department says the public transport interchange at Huanggang port is ready with signage, screens and service ambassadors. The department will review passenger queries and enhance information displays to improve travel experience.
Hong Kong’s Transport Department has announced that the public transport interchange at the Huanggang port is operationally ready, with all information displays in place ahead of the port’s opening. The department said it will compile common passenger queries and enhance information facilities as needed to continuously improve the travel experience.
In a social media post, the department stated that it has installed multiple display screens at key locations across the interchange and near boarding areas. These screens show details such as bus and minibus route destinations, stops along each route and boarding positions.
Large stickers and directional signs have also been placed at major points in the interchange, featuring icons for different transport modes, route numbers and directions. Public transport operators have arranged bus-stop signs, queue barriers and other equipment to allow passengers to board in an orderly manner.
During the initial phase of the port’s operation, service ambassadors will be stationed on the second-floor concourse to help passengers choose the most suitable route into the urban area.
