Six miners killed, 25 missing after coal mine blast in Hebei

Six miners were killed and 25 others trapped after a coal mine explosion in Hebei Province, according to Xinhua.

The explosion occurred on the afternoon of 2 March in at the town-run coal mine in Huangsha Town in Cixian County. Rescuers were searching for the trapped miners and further investigation into the explosion is underway.

The coal mine was under safety rectification and it was applying for the  production license, which had been revoked due to inadequate safety facilities, according to a provincial work safety official.
