Hong Kong reveals nine bidders for Homantin residential site
Hong Kong's Lands Department disclosed the nine bidders for a private residential site in Homantin, including subsidiaries of major developers such as Sun Hung Kai Properties and China Overseas. The site has a maximum gross floor area of 19,300 square metres.
Hong Kong's Lands Department on Tuesday published the results of a tender for a residential site in Homantin, revealing nine bidders that included subsidiaries of major property developers.
The site, known as Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11301, has an area of about 5,170 square metres and is designated for private residential use. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 11,580 square metres and 19,300 square metres, respectively. These figures exclude floor areas for a neighbourhood senior citizens centre and a community mental health centre that the buyer is required to build as part of the land conditions.
The nine bidders, listed in alphabetical order by company name along with their parent companies in brackets, are: Zhong Jia Limited (Sun Hung Kai Properties Development Limited); China Overseas Xingye Limited (China Overseas Development Limited); Xianghao Group Limited (Poly Property Group Limited); HLP Asia Limited (Hang Lung Properties Limited); Zhong Wei Limited (Sino Estates Group Limited and Great Eagle Holdings Limited); Mightytime Limited (Chinachem Group Holdings Limited); Tianhong Enterprise Limited (Cheung Kong Real Estate Group Limited); Haochang Xingye Limited (K. Wah International Group Limited); and Lianghui Limited (Wheelock Properties Limited).
The successful bidder was not disclosed in the announcement.
