A Workman I is mainly deployed on the following recreation and amenities duties - 1. gardening; 2. park-keeping and writing of simple report; 3. handling sports ground maintenance; 4. tree maintenance, grass mowing/ planting; 5. looking after animals/ birds; 6. operating sporting equipment in sports centre/ sports ground/ stadium, etc.; 7. performing nursery work; and 8. any other duties as assigned by senior officers. <i>[Note: Successful candidates should note that - i. they are required to work 45 hours net per week (excluding meal breaks); ii. they are required to wear uniform; iii. they may be required to perform shift duties and work irregular hours (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays).
