Hong Kong's Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will host free 'Performing Arts Fun Day 2026' events at two venues this month, offering a variety of cultural performances and interactive activities for the public.

The first event will take place at Tuen Mun Town Hall on 8 November (Sunday) at 2pm. The programme includes dance and Chinese orchestra performances by the Tuen Mun Arts and Cultural Association, Fujian Nanyin music by the Oriental Qin Melody Art Troupe, a drama presentation of 'Tuen Mun² – Rust of the Floating World' by the Green Leaf Theatre, as well as interactive story workshops and a book exhibition.

The second Fun Day will be held at Tsuen Wan Town Hall on 15 November (Sunday) at 2pm. The Music Office will present a 'Music in the Community' symphony and string concert performed by a youth orchestra. Other acts include a 'Classic but Trendy' community music concert blending Chinese and Western instruments by the Ensemble Plus and the Zhuyun Ensemble, and a family-friendly Cantonese opera theatre piece, 'When the Legend of Love Meets Wong Fei Hung', performed by the Zhuyun Ensemble. The Tsuen Wan Town Hall's venue partner, the Yanyi Musical, will also offer a family musical performance workshop.

Some activities require advance registration or tickets, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Further details are available on the Tuen Mun Town Hall website (www.lcsd.gov.hk/tc/tmth/pafd2026.html) and the Tsuen Wan Town Hall website (www.lcsd.gov.hk/tc/twth/programmes/pafd2026.html).
