The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) in Singapore backed a concert by Hong Kong harmonica artist Ho Cheuk-yin at the Esplanade Theatre on 3 October 2026. The performance, titled 'Liang Jie Yi Xin' (Two Worlds, One Heart), attracted over 200 attendees, including representatives from the Chinese embassy in Singapore, chambers of commerce, cultural institutions, and the local Hong Kong community.

Ho performed alongside Hong Kong singer Lin Kailing, pianist Zhu Zhaojie, South Korean drummer Jongkuk Kim, and bassist Jaeshin Park. The programme included pieces such as 'Liang' (Understanding), 'Mi Xin' (Lost Heart), 'Fan Zhou Sen Ba' (Incantation Samba), 'Zai Liang Ge Xin Zhong Zuo Xia' (Sitting in Two Hearts), and 'Xia Yi Zhang' (Next Chapter).

After the concert, HKETO Commissioner Xiong Peiling met the artists to encourage them. She urged them to seize opportunities to interact with local audiences and musicians, showcasing Hong Kong's creativity and cultural vitality through the performance and exchange activities.

The HKETO's support for the tour is part of its ongoing efforts to promote Hong Kong's arts and cultural talent in Southeast Asia. The initiative aims to expand overseas platforms for Hong Kong artists, strengthen industry links in the region, and foster closer cultural and people-to-people exchanges. It also supports Hong Kong's goal of becoming a hub for cultural exchange between China and the rest of the world.

On 2 October, Ho conducted a workshop for about 40 local harmonica enthusiasts titled 'Breaking Through the Bottleneck of Chromatic Harmonica Learning'. On 4 October, he is scheduled to make a guest appearance at the Harmonica Enthusiasts Association's 'Qin Yuan 51' (Harmony 51) concert at the Esplanade.

Ho's 'Liang Jie Yi Xin' project explores the harmonica's potential through jazz, pop, and world music genres. The Asian tour also includes stops in Taipei, Penang, and Seoul. The Singapore concert featured local harmonica groups and orchestras performing with Ho and his touring musicians, promoting cross-cultural collaboration and showcasing Hong Kong's musical talent abroad.
