Hong Kong Investment Corporation (HKIC) has announced its first full-time internship programme, open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, with priority given to those enrolled at local tertiary institutions. Applications close on 3 November.
The internships will run for four to six weeks starting in December, and successful applicants will be assigned to one of three departments: investment, risk and compliance, or legal. Each intern will receive a fixed monthly salary of HK$11,800.
HKIC said the programme is designed for tertiary students who are eager to learn and keen to contribute to Hong Kong's future, allowing them to grow alongside the corporation and participate in building the city's financial and innovation technology synergy.
The corporation described the initiative as an opportunity for interns to help write the investment story of "rooted in Hong Kong, backed by the nation, and facing the world".
The programme reflects HKIC's commitment to nurturing local talent and supporting the government's efforts to strengthen Hong Kong's role as a global financial and innovation hub.
