OPEC+ Major Oil Producers Keep Output Unchanged for November
Seven OPEC+ major oil producers, including Saudi Arabia and Russia, decided in an online meeting to maintain November output at September levels. The move comes amid ongoing Middle East conflicts that have constrained Gulf exports to 60-80 per cent of normal capacity.
Seven major oil producers from the OPEC+ group have decided to keep production unchanged for November, the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) announced on 5 Oct 2026. Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman took part in an online meeting to analyse current conditions and the outlook for the oil market.
The meeting concluded that November output will remain at the same level as September. OPEC+ comprises OPEC members together with non-OPEC oil producers such as Russia.
Reports indicate that although OPEC+ has raised output targets for most of this year, exports from Gulf-based OPEC+ producers have been running at only 60 to 80 per cent of normal levels in recent months, affected by conflicts in the Middle East.
