Fairwood expects up to 160pc jump in half-year profit

Restaurant operator Fairwood (0052) expects net profit of HK$32 million to HK$34 million for the six months ended 30 September 2026, representing a 140 per cent to 160 per cent jump year-on-year, the company said on Tuesday.
The profit surge was driven by two main factors, Fairwood said. The company expanded its customer base and revenue through product innovation and data-driven promotions, while leveraging artificial-intelligence analytics to improve the success rate of new-store openings.
In addition, Fairwood rolled out sustainable operations to boost profitability through cost optimisation, refined store workflows and better labour productivity, it added.
Shares of Fairwood rose 8.5 per cent to HK$4.73 by 2:40 pm on Tuesday following the announcement.
