China’s Sanegene Bio is targeting next year for a Hong Kong initial public offering that could raise several hundred million US dollars after confidentially filing for the deal, according to a Bloomberg report.
The clinical-stage biotechnology company focuses on RNA interference therapeutics for autoimmune, cardiovascular, obesity and metabolic diseases. It has research and development operations in Boston, Shanghai and Suzhou.
As of August, Sanegene Bio had initiated clinical trials for four experimental medicines, its website showed. Morgan Stanley and China International Capital Corporation (3908) are joint sponsors for the listing.
