ACFTU meets New Zealand Delegation

A delegation from the New Zealand Council of Trade Unions (NZCTU) met with All China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) leaders in Beijing on April 20th, 2001 and agreed to strengthen friendly exchanges between the two organisations.

President of the ACFTU and Standing Committee member of the PolitBuro of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Wei Jianxing, told NZCTU president Ross Wilson that the ACFTU wished to develop friendly relations with all trade unions in the world on the basis of independence, mutual respect and non-interference in each others internal affairs.
